THE PROCESS
The booking fee for your newborn session is $350 and it includes:
– A pre-session design consultation
– A 3-4 hour in studio session
– Access to hundreds of studio props and accessories
– Access to all of our couture designer gown collection for the family portraits
– Professional makeup services for mom and professional retouching
– A reveal and ordering session
Digital files, wall art and prints are purchased separately from the booking fee at the ordering appointment.

parent and sibling portraits
When booking Lovely Daze for your newborn session we encourage our clients to have their family join baby for family portraits. Makeup services for mom are included in your session fee

The pre session consultation allows us to get to know one another and begin planning your little ones perfect reveal. Newborn Sessions include parent and sibling portraits. We’ll go over everything from aesthetics, to wardrobe and product design.

Once your’e officially booked, I will send over a questionnaire for you to fill out. Once we review the questionnaire we’ll begin planning the details for your portrait session. You’ll then receive a prep guide with tips on how to make your little ones reveal go seamlessly.

On the day of your session, we’ll meet at LD Studio . We will have all the outfits and accessories pulled for your little ones shoot. The session typically lasts 2-4 hours. Wardrobe options for mom and kids are also available. Makeup services for mom are also included .

One week after your session you will come back to the studio for your Reveal and Ordering session at which time we’ll show you your edited images. You will make your selections and we will begin curating wall art or albums to your liking.

All products are delivered to LD studio for a quality check prior to going to their forever home. Albums take 3-4 weeks to arrive.Digital products are completed within 2 weeks.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When should I schedule my newborn session ?
Newborn sessions are best captured when your baby is between 8-18 days old. Since the time frame is pretty tight we would recommend reaching out at least one/two month before your due date to ensure availability.
How long is a newborn session?
Newborn sessions can last anywhere from 2-4 hours. Some newborn sessions can be done very quickly, others take a bit more time and the baby needs a few feeding/soothing breaks. Newborn photography can be a waiting game. We are on your baby’s schedule and that’s totally fine.
Do I need to bring any props to my newborn session?
We are a full service studio and will provide all the necessary props and accessories for your session. If there’s anything dear to your heart that you might want included in your session, please let us know ahead of time so we can incorporate it in the session the best way possible.
What happens if my baby comes earlier or later than expected?
When you book a newborn session with us you are not scheduling a specific date but you are guaranteed a spot for your session. Once your baby is born you will simply let us know and we will provide a few dates and times to choose from in those first 6-18 days of life. If you are scheduled for a c section or induction we will select your date ahead of time and confirm it once the baby arrives.
